Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR2M5 RNA is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated OR2M5 data layer compared with 8 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher OR2M5 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OR2M5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, BLCA, and SKCM are the cancer types where OR2M5 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
