Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR2M5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated OR2M5 data layer compared with 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher OR2M5 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OR2M5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LIHC, BRCA, and OV are the cancer types where OR2M5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
