Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR2G2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated OR2G2 data layer compared with 11 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher OR2G2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OR2G2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and UCEC show a favorable association.

CESC, LUAD, and SKCM are the cancer types where OR2G2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
