Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR2C3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated OR2C3 data layer compared with 17 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher OR2C3 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OR2C3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.

KICH, PRAD, and ESCA are the cancer types where OR2C3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
