Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR2B7P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 5 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of OR2B7P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where OR2B7P RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types OR2B7P is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as UCEC and THCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.
UCEC, THCA, and LUSC are the cancer types where OR2B7P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
