Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR2AE1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated OR2AE1 data layer compared with 16 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher OR2AE1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OR2AE1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
ESCA, LUAD, and LIHC are the cancer types where OR2AE1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
