Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR1L6 RNA is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated OR1L6 data layer compared with 3 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher OR1L6 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OR1L6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SCLC show a favorable association.
UCEC, THCA, and UVM are the cancer types where OR1L6 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
