Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR1J2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated OR1J2 data layer compared with 17 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher OR1J2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OR1J2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, UCEC, and SARC are the cancer types where OR1J2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
