Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR14C36 RNA is linked to patient survival in 13 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated OR14C36 data layer compared with 7 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher OR14C36 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OR14C36 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.

ACC, KIRC, and THYM are the cancer types where OR14C36 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
