Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR14A16 RNA is linked to patient survival in 14 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated OR14A16 data layer compared with 2 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher OR14A16 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OR14A16 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD show a favorable association.
LUAD, UCS, and KIRC are the cancer types where OR14A16 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
