Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR11K2P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 2 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of OR11K2P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in prostate adenocarcinoma (PRAD), where OR11K2P RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types OR11K2P is over-expressed in tumor.
PRAD and LUSC are the cancer types where OR11K2P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
