Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR10J6P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of OR10J6P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where OR10J6P RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types OR10J6P is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as LIHC and KICH show the opposite, repressed pattern.
LIHC, KICH, and CHOL are the cancer types where OR10J6P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
