Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR10H2 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of OR10H2’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where OR10H2 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types OR10H2 is over-expressed in tumor.
LIHC, UCEC, and LUSC are the cancer types where OR10H2 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
