Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR10G1P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 1 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of OR10G1P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in prostate adenocarcinoma (PRAD), where OR10G1P RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types OR10G1P is over-expressed in tumor.
PRAD are the cancer types where OR10G1P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
