Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OPN1MW RNA is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated OPN1MW data layer compared with 2 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher OPN1MW RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OPN1MW expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

LUAD, STAD, and PAAD are the cancer types where OPN1MW RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
