Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OPLAH mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated OPLAH data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher OPLAH mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OPLAH expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD and CCRCC show a favorable association.

COAD, CCRCC, and PDAC are the cancer types where OPLAH mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
