Across TCGA patient cohorts, OPCML protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 5,273 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible OPCML-associated genes across cancer lineages are YPEL1, SNRPD3, and GGT1. Each is linked with OPCML in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both OPCML-to-partner and partner-to-OPCML results are reported.
