Across TCGA patient cohorts, OMA1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 10,444 significant associations in total. PDAC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible OMA1-associated genes across cancer lineages are SEC23A, PGBD1, and ITGB1. Each is linked with OMA1 in more than 5 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both OMA1-to-partner and partner-to-OMA1 results are reported.
