Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OLIG2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated OLIG2 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher OLIG2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OLIG2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
BLCA, READ, and UCEC are the cancer types where OLIG2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
