Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OGFOD2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated OGFOD2 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where higher OGFOD2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OGFOD2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
THCA, UCEC, and SKCM are the cancer types where OGFOD2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
