Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OCLN Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated OCLN data layer compared with 18 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher OCLN Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OCLN expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
STAD and UCEC are the cancer types where OCLN Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
