Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OCA2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated OCA2 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher OCA2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OCA2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUAD, THYM, and BLCA are the cancer types where OCA2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
