Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OBP2B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated OBP2B data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in sarcoma (SARC), where higher OBP2B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OBP2B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
SARC, PRAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where OBP2B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
