Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NWD2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 19 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated NWD2 data layer compared with 5 for mutation status and 1 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher NWD2 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NWD2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BRCA and LGG show a favorable association.

STAD, BRCA, and ACC are the cancer types where NWD2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
