Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NVL Mutation is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NVL data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher NVL Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NVL expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, LUAD, and KIRP are the cancer types where NVL Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
