Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NUTM2D RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated NUTM2D data layer compared with 2 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine carcinosarcoma (UCS), where higher NUTM2D RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NUTM2D expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and LGG show a favorable association.
UCS, LGG, and KIRP are the cancer types where NUTM2D RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
