Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NUTM2A RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated NUTM2A data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine carcinosarcoma (UCS), where higher NUTM2A RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NUTM2A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and LGG show a favorable association.
UCS, HNSC, and LGG are the cancer types where NUTM2A RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
