Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NUP85 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NUP85 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in prostate adenocarcinoma (PRAD), where higher NUP85 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NUP85 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
PRAD, UCEC, and SKCM are the cancer types where NUP85 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
