Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NUP54 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NUP54 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher NUP54 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NUP54 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
SKCM and SARC are the cancer types where NUP54 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
