Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NUP50 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NUP50 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher NUP50 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NUP50 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
HNSC, ACC, and SKCM are the cancer types where NUP50 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
