Across TCGA patient cohorts, NUP50 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 12,583 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible NUP50-associated genes across cancer lineages are GTSE1, MCM5, and PBK. Each is linked with NUP50 in more than 9 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both NUP50-to-partner and partner-to-NUP50 results are reported.
