Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NUP35 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NUP35 data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher NUP35 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NUP35 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD and LSCC show a favorable association.

HNSC, CCRCC, and COAD are the cancer types where NUP35 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
