Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NUP210L RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 6 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of NUP210L’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where NUP210L RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types NUP210L is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as LUSC and KICH show the opposite, repressed pattern.
LUAD, LUSC, and KICH are the cancer types where NUP210L tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
