Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NUDT7 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 14 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of NUDT7’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where NUDT7 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types NUDT7 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA and KIRC show the opposite, repressed pattern.
THCA, KIRC, and BLCA are the cancer types where NUDT7 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
