Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NUDC RNA is linked to patient survival in 27 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated NUDC data layer compared with 1 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher NUDC RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NUDC expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SCLC and STAD show a favorable association.
LIHC, LGG, and MESO are the cancer types where NUDC RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
