Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NTSR1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated NTSR1 data layer compared with 5 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher NTSR1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NTSR1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SCLC and THYM show a favorable association.
LUAD, KICH, and BRCA are the cancer types where NTSR1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
