Across TCGA patient cohorts, NTS mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 32 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible NTS-associated genes across cancer lineages are MAPK_pT202_Y204, Notch1, and GSK-3_pS9. Each is linked with NTS in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both NTS-to-partner and partner-to-NTS results are reported.
