Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NT5M Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NT5M data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher NT5M Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NT5M expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
KIRC, HNSC, and SKCM are the cancer types where NT5M Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
