Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NT5E RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated NT5E data layer compared with 6 for mutation status and 6 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher NT5E RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NT5E expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and UCEC show a favorable association.

STAD, UVM, and HNSC are the cancer types where NT5E RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
