Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NT5C3A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NT5C3A data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher NT5C3A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NT5C3A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
HNSC, SCLC, and UCEC are the cancer types where NT5C3A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
