Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NT5C2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NT5C2 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher NT5C2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NT5C2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUSC and UCEC are the cancer types where NT5C2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
