Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NSUN7 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NSUN7 data layer compared with 17 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher NSUN7 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NSUN7 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
HNSC, UCEC, and SKCM are the cancer types where NSUN7 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
