Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NSUN4 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NSUN4 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher NSUN4 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NSUN4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

CCRCC, LSCC, and GBM are the cancer types where NSUN4 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
