Across TCGA patient cohorts, NSMF protein abundance is significantly associated with the protein abundance of many other proteins, with 7,306 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible NSMF-associated proteins across cancer lineages are RCOR1_S260, RECQL, and REEP1. Each is linked with NSMF in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both NSMF-to-partner and partner-to-NSMF results are reported.
