Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NSL1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NSL1 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher NSL1 mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NSL1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LSCC and PDAC show a favorable association.

LSCC, PDAC, and OV are the cancer types where NSL1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
