Across TCGA patient cohorts, NSF protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 14,372 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible NSF-associated genes across cancer lineages are TMSB10, CDCA3, and SERPINH1. Each is linked with NSF in more than 5 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both NSF-to-partner and partner-to-NSF results are reported.
