Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NSD2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 28 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated NSD2 data layer compared with 10 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher NSD2 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NSD2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and SKCM show a favorable association.
MESO, UCS, and ACC are the cancer types where NSD2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
