Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NRXN1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 11 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NRXN1 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher NRXN1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NRXN1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and STAD show a favorable association.

KIRC, ACC, and UVM are the cancer types where NRXN1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
