Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NRSN1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated NRSN1 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in brain lower grade glioma (LGG), where higher NRSN1 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NRSN1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LGG and KIRP show a favorable association.
LGG, KIRP, and KIRC are the cancer types where NRSN1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
