Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NRM Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NRM data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher NRM Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NRM expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC are the cancer types where NRM Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
